Divine Masters in Amma and Swami’s life

Amma Adi Sakthi and Swami Shanmuga are guided directly by their Gurumata Sri Maha Pratyangira Devi to help sincere seekers on their spiritual path. In doing this, they honor the purity and love of the Divine in the form of guides and teachers. Their journey of walking the path of serving the Divine Mother has blessed them with Darshan and direct guidance and teachings from many revered masters. Each one of these teachers has come to Amma and Swami from the same source, the one Source. Some of them have appeared in their physical form, and others in their astral form.

In the past, Amma and Swami's devotion to the Mother was challenged by scholars and other physical teachers attempting to direct them away from Mother Pratyangira. The thought of separation from Mata Pratyangira would cause great pain to them. During these hardships, they would cry out to the Mother with great bhakti (devotion). One by one, realized Masters appeared to Amma and Swami with the message the Mother has sent me to you. This comfort has stirred the realization that the Divine Mother is Omnipresent and is in their every breath. They wish to share this knowledge with all who are seeking to be with the Divine Mother.

Amma and Swami's experience has taught them that when one calls out with sincere bhakti, Divinity reveals itself. The following Illumined Masters have directly taught and guided Amma and Swami. Paramahamsa Sri Yogeeshwarar (Cuddapah Swamy), Sri Mahavatar Babaji, Sri Ramana Maharshi, and Sathguru Srimad Shanthananda Swamigal have revealed themselves to be their principal teachers. The main aspects of their Tapasya, Self-inquiry and being quiet in silence, are directly influenced by Sri Ramana Maharshi.

Amma and Swami hold all of these teachers in their hearts with love, devotion, and gratitude for the protection and light they have brought into their family. Their family includes all the souls touched by them. With the utmost reverence, they carry a message of Ekatvam, of Oneness guided by the Divine.
